Kara Nolan

Kara completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Neuroscience at Monash University before going on to study a Bachelor of Health Science/Masters of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University.

Kara specialises in treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions in patients of all ages. She works with adults and children with a wide variety of conditions including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis (MS). She has experience with wheelchair prescription, walking and standing frames and AFOs. She is also skilled in paediatric physiotherapy and regularly treats children with developmental delay and skull shape conditions such as plagiocephaly.

Kara is also very passionate about sporting injuries, rehabilitation and return to sport. She works regularly with Basketball Victoria, in particular the women’s and men’s Ivor Burge basketball teams. Recently, Kara has also started working with the Australian Pearls women’s basketball team.

Kara has a strong sporting background and outside of work enjoys hiking, paddle boarding and strength training.
