Peter Moate
Peter Moate, as a Podiatrist, is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot and lower leg.
Peter has 15 years of Professional experience and is principal Podiatrist at Bounce Health Group's Blackburn centre.
Peter has been recognised within the Profession by attaining fellowship of the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and was selected as a member of the Melbourne Commonwealth games medical team. He has a special interest in biomechanical intervention for the treatment and prevention of sports injuries, and also for degenerative conditions in less active patients.
The practice is fully equipped for general Podiatry treatments, minor surgical procedures, and biomechanical intervention. Peter can provide footwear advice and modification, and whether pre fabricated or custom, can provide a complete range of palliative or corrective foot orthoses after careful biomechanical evaluation.
Podiatry consultations attract health fund rebates for patients with extras or ancillary cover. DVA gold card holders are welcome if referred by a GP, and Medicare rebates apply for EPC patients on medical care plans. Discounts apply for Pensioners.
