Megan Roy
Megan is currently a full time physiotherapist with Bounce Health Group joining in 2008 to follow her passion for Sports Physiotherapy. She also worked for over 3 years at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Her interest in Sports Physiotherapy became apparent from an early age when she sort physiotherapy treatment on numerous occasions during her time as a high level Gymnast. In retirement she now enjoys playing tennis, netball and hockey and for 6 years was a Womens Artistic Gymnastics Coach being awarded Excellence in coaching Awards from Eclipse Gymnastics in Ringwood.
Megan runs both Hydrotherapy and Clinical Pilates classes at Bounce and also enjoys treating and expanding her clinical expertise with dry needling.
She likes the challenges of treating a broad range of both recreational and elite athletes from many varied sports but has a particular interest in football, basketball, tennis and gymnastics.
Her clinical interests involve the management of ankle and knee injuries and she takes particular pleasure in assisting her post operative patients to achieve their optimum level of function and recovery.
Megan is enthusiastic about regularly updating and expanding her clinical knowledge and has plans to commence her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy next year.
