Jemma Lima

Jemma graduated from Holmesglen Institute with an Advance Diploma of Remedial Massage and Myotherapy.
Since completing her studies Jemma has been working at The Queen Elizabeth Centre. The QEC is a small hospital in Noble Park, where new parents go to get assistance with early childhood development. Jemma provides Myotherapy treatments to patients during their stay at the Queen Elizabeth Centre.
Jemma has a passion for sports massage but also enjoys the challenge of treating people of all ages and provides a variety of treatment options to patients.
Jemma is qualified to provide the following modalities:

·         Myofascial release and stretching
·         Trigger point therapy
·         Thermal therapy and Cryotherapy
·         TENs, corrective exercises as well as assist with posture and body mechanics

·         Sports Massage
·         Relaxation Massage

Jemma has always been passionate about sport, growing up she enjoyed participating in a variety of sporting activities. In particular Jemma has a passion for gymnastics; she achieved her National Level 10, and was fortunate enough to represent Victoria at the National Gymnastics Championships on a couple of occasions.
Jemma is a passionate AFL supporter; she also loves watching cricket, swimming and netball.
Jemma has a particular focus in the health and fitness industry, she is enthusiastic and passionate about the benefits of myotherapy. Jemma has a genuine interest in helping people; she is motivated and energetic. Jemma will continue to expand her clinical knowledge while providing the optimal outcome for her patients.
Jemma is currently working with Bounce Health Group on Tuesdays 2.00pm – 6.00pm and Thursdays 1.00pm – 5.00pm.
