Dr. Dan Bates
Dan is a Sports Medicine registrar and Director of Bounce. He completed a Science degree and Honours at Melbourne University and then medicine at the University of Newcastle .
Dan has special interest in the management of groin pain, minimising overuse injuries in young athletes, boxing medicine and the on field management of sports emergencies.
He has worked for Melbourne Victory, Eastern Ranges TAC cup team and is currently with the Sydney Swans. He is also the medical officer for the Basketball Victoria ITC program, and has worked across multiple other sports.
Dan is currently on the Australasian College of Sports Medicine training program, and aims to complete his training in 2011.
