Gymnastics National Championships
Well what a whirlwind 6 days that was! Our Victorian level 7-10 National stream gymnasts were an absolute pleasure to travel with to the National Championships in Perth July 3-8th.
The girls kept me busy with lots of treatment at the venue to keep them all in top condition but I did get the occasional break to gossip with the other physios! The resident dj kept us all entertained during our long days at the competition venue with an excellent selection of 80s and 90s hits... fantastic!!
Aside from physio-ing the girls they did let me loose with the manual 12-seater bus on one occasion! We all enjoyed a ?scenic? trip home after missing the turn off to our accommodation... I wonder why they didn?t ask me to drive again???
Our level 7 and 9 girls came 2nd in the team event and our level 10 girls took out the gold medal! There were also many great individual performances and we were all extremely proud of not only the girl?s performance in the competition but their professionalism, friendship and good humour.
